Flowers! Flowers! And the odd glass of red…

Earlier this year, the APs and I went on a little trip out West.  In addition to staying in a magical house in Shropshire and visiting places in Shropshire and Wales, we went down to Exeter to visit some friends who do many things including farm.  They have dozens of breeds of happy rare chickens and a couple of ostrich looking creatures, one of which escaped the other day and had to be captured using a landrover, a sock, and an 85 year old man.  But I digress…

We went to see Killerton, an amazing National Trust property with masses of flowers which mum and I photographed along with our cups of tea, scones and cream, views of the sea from an amazing little village, and a day that started with a picnic and ended with Dad sacked out in an oversized armchair, slumped over a glass of red…
