Eat more…hot cross buns! (yum)

I have long been a fan of Marks and Spencer’s finest hot cross buns.  Light and airy, sweet and fruity, I have never been able to match them in terms of taste or texture.  Until now. 

I would not be defeated and got a bit obsessed by baking hot cross buns, trying recipe after recipe until I kind of modified various recipes and put them together into this one here

Delicious hot out of the oven or toasted with plenty of butter.  You know it, let’s say it again:  bread and butter is the answer.
